Well, it’s cold and flu season around here. Which got me thinking about the excuses people use to call in sick–whether they are truly sick or just sick of work (hey, we all need a break now and then!)I would love to hear Your most creative excuses–I’ll publish a list of the best. Feel free to use a different name (so your boss won’t know!)
My favorite excuse so far Was actually the title excuse–an employee who called me one day to explain she couldn’t come to work because her dog was in labor. After hearing how much just one puppy sold for, I had to admit I couldn’t match what she made that day!
So c’mon–send me those creative excuses. I will list them here for the amusement of others. And maybe–for others to use! Ah-CHOO!
